Playground Project

Here is the final product of our spring service project - a playground at the baseball fields behind Battleground school.

Many thanks to all who donated time, materials, and "love" to make this available to the young people playing at the Battleground Rec fields.

Broken tools - $??
Sore muscles - $??
Hours of enjoyment for the youth - PRICELESS!!!

Packing Backpacks

Lafayette Breakfast Optimist Club members, along with the Battleground Lions Club, are in their second year of providing 24 backpacks of food on a weekly basis throughout the school year. These backpacks are for students in need as selected by the staff at Battleground Elementary School.
This is one of many programs we support for the youth of our community.
